Just wanted to give y'all a heads up on what is coming out next week courtesy of the Land of La-La:

FIRST UP:

ERASER - Alan Silvestri's machismo oozing score comes blasting out at ya courtesy of our ongoing EXPANDED ARCHIVAL COLLECTION. The project was produced by your's truly, mastered by James Nelson and liner notes written by Daniel Schweiger!

Limited Edition of 3000 units

DRAGONSLAYER - making it's OFFICIAL DEBUT on CD (that "other release" was a boot, sad to say) comes one of Alex North's last unsung masterpieces. Clocking in at over 70 minutes, Dragonslayer is chock full of some North's trademark tunes and delicious orchestrations. A must for any fan of the film or 80's film music! Limited edition of 3000 units

See you all next Tuesday at Noon PST!

Best,
MV Gerhard

And Body Heat??

John Barry considered it a bootleg because he didn't personally aprove the master, but the release as such is legitimate.

I assume ERASER won't be signed by Alan Silvestri....or will it?

DRAGONSLAYER?! eek HOLY CRAP.

Michael, one question - were there any rights negotiations with Disney involved on that CD? Or does Paramount completely own that title now? I know the movie was a collaboration between the two studios...

Can it be that it was only meant to be released in Australia only or something like this???
Are SCSE's KRULL and BODY HEAT bootlegs too?

High Road To China also had a SCSE and Supertracks release. Are those all boots too?

With BSX doing HRTC and LLL doing Dragonslayer, maybe a new Krull is not far behind?

Hasn't KRULL been done enough?

I've never been a big fan of Alex North and will probably be trading away the ones I've bought (except for 2001). DRAGONSLAYER is a possible though as it's one of his later ones (and doesn't it include some music written for 2001 anyway?).
