The project was produced by your's truly, mastered by James Nelson and liner notes written by Daniel Schweiger! DRAGONSLAYER - making it's OFFICIAL DEBUT on CD (that "other release" was a boot, sad to say) comes one of Alex North's last unsung masterpieces. Clocking in at over 70 minutes, Dragonslayer is chock full of some North's trademark tunes and delicious orchestrations. A must for any fan of the film or 80's film music! Absolutely terrific news... you have my money on both of these releases, gentlemen. If they didn't have the rights to release it, it's a bootleg. All the John Lasher labels (Southern Cross, Fifth Continent, Label X, SCSE) are a strange lot, since some of their releases are (apparently) fully licensed and legal, and some are… not. Gold Disc Limited Edition 244 / 750" Here in Germany, everybody says it was limited to 2000 copies and everyone has one of the 2000 copies but I have one of the 750 copies. So are there 2750 copies out there?? I know the movie was a collaboration between the two studios...
