Wow, damn, four? Personal fave from my childhood so I’m not complaining, even though I just bought the 2cd not long ago.

That´s some improvement. Probably it will contains original album on one of discs.

Isn´t this record in number of score CDs released for one film?

NP: Crusoe (MK)

LLL's Titanic was also 4 discs, but I can't think of many others.

Looks like it will be out Tuesday. Roger posted this update:

Let's go with 9/22. And four CDs. And better source master for improved sonics.

4 CDs???

I was content with the original two-disc expansion, but I have to say that now I'll be checking Intrada's page to see exactly what is on there. Might be worth double-dipping.

Varese's 6-CDs Spartacus holds that record, with FSM's 5-CDs Ben-Hur a close second.

And of course Intrada’s own glorious 6CD release of ‘The Ten Commandments’.

It's the most number of discs for a single film score by Kamen!

I have just had permission from the Mrs to double dip on my favourite Kamen score!

Hopefully that heroic fanfare will be included in the Celt Battle cue as Robin swings across the trees!

Well, this is good news and bad news. Good news for the fact we get more music from my favorite Kamen score. I would be content with the first release but Intrada is adding 2 more discs!! Bad news, it will cost me more. This is probably going to be a $40-$50 purchase.

I thought 4 CDs was being referred to a total of 2 CD sets. Robin Hood and some other exciting title.

Anyways, a 4CD set of ROBIN HOOD would mean that there would be 3rd CD of alternates and source music whereas the 4th would be a remaster of the OST with Bryan Adams song!

That was my thought. I can't imagine this merits a four CD release. Remember one disc for the Titanic release was classical music. Intrada rarely does multi disc sets over two discs. So maybe a two disc set and two single disc releases. Or as you said two two disc releases.

"Four CDs" can only mean one package. Intrada has never announced anything with a different meaning, and they haven't done two simultaneous releases in a very long time anyway.

What I see : the original album (with songs?) isolated on one disc ; two discs with the film versions program complete ; the last disc with an alternate presentation of alternate/previous versions, to be listened as a whole (not a simple suite of bonuses). Remember Back to the Future ?

I also considered an early or rejected score, but did that happen here?

RH POT v.2 can be split to 3 CDs with 50 min of complete score program + extras and one CD can be for remastered album.

That'd have to be a lot of extras. 45 minutes could fit with the first release and OST across just 3 CDs.

According to an Intrada employee it’s a 4cd-set and it is “spectacular”
