I am currently working on a document of music selections for this. I'll hopefully have them ready for your review soon, Lukas smile

There are two of us compiling these for Lukas: me and a gentleman named Deniz. I think however that he was referring to gathering his own selections together. BTW, I think Lukas is close to asking for our final tallying of requests, so if you want to make one here in this thread there's no time like the present.

When I watched the ENTERPRISE and VOYAGER series awhile back (never watched DS9), the episode scores I made the effort to rip and edit from the 5.1 audio were these (so these would be my requests). I like the tragic dramatic episodes:

ST:Enterprise
Seas2 Cogenitor -Dennis McCarthy

ST:Voyager
Seas4 Day of Honor -Dennis McCarthy
Seas5 Timeless -Dennis McCarthy
Seas5 Latent Image -Paul Baillargeon
Seas5 Gravity -Dennis McCarthy
Seas7 Human Error -Jay Chattaway
Seas7 Repression -Jay Chattaway

Okay, here are two episodes of DS9 with good music. The times listed are from the Season 4 DVD.

Accession - McCarthy
"Kira's Resignation" 30:40 - 31:21

Hard Time - McCarthy
"Unfit for Duty" 29:45 - 34:16 (act-out)
"The Real Story" 34:19 - 36:45
"Be Well" 42:30 - 43:20
"Daddy's Home" 43:53 - 44:36

Yes - thank you. To me, "Hard Time" may actually be McCarthy's finest hour in the "Trek" franchise, even moreso than "Conspiracy" or "Generations" or "What You Leave Behind." It's truly a powerhouse score, with a wonderful emotional undercurrent, and I'm glad to see someone put in a request for it. I second it, and if there are any other substantial cues from that score, I'll put in a request for those, but your list seems to cover the highlights, from what I recall. (I haven't had the heart or time to revisit the episode and try to cherry-pick the really great cues, so I appreciate your work here. Thanks!)

I would love this commercial too - and have posted about it in other Star Trek threads.

I'm not sure if it was produced by a local Fox TV station, or if Fox TV would have this recording somewhere. The end of the clip looks like a local Fox station.

Since the channel is only identified in the song as "your favorite station," it's almost certainly a generic promo made available to various station groups that carried that series. The station this was recorded on happened to be a Fox affiliate, but it almost certainly has nothing to do with the Fox Network or 20th Century Fox television.

And all that said… this is not something I would ever, ever want to hear again. But that's what playlists are made for, isn't it?

Yeah, I guess I actually wouldn't want it to play while I'm listening to a CD, but then again I have little musical interest in most of these source cue oddities people seem to want. But I do think they're fun, especially this one.

Oh man, I hope this set doesn't turn into the album equivalent of a "junk drawer", with just random bits and pieces scrambled together!

I know that won't really be the case, the LLL team always strive to make sure their albums are listenable, so I am sure this set will be arranged by series and movie, with perhaps the odd source cues gathered at the end.

Hey LaLaLand!

I think for STAR TREK: TNG are the Two-Part Cliffhangers very important. I like to have them complete or mostly complete: McCarthys "Redemption Part I and II", "Time's Arrow Part I and II" and Jay Chattaways "Descent Part I and II"

You're welcome. It's certainly one of McCarthy's more emotional scores from DS9, and features that wonderful string figure for O'Brien's decent. I was instantly captivated by it, as I'm sure he was by the episode itself.

I just finished watching Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy from Voyager and I must say, I would love most of the music from the score. In looking through this thread, the highlights are already mentioned. If any cues from that score are used, I would love it this could be a bonus track. It always makes me smile and I would love to be able to hear it separately without all of the sound effects. It plays at the very start of the episode.

One of the best Voyager scores, in my opinion, is from the Episode "Deadlock."

The music when the original Voyager's bridge is damaged and Janeway must run into the turbo lift.

Also, the entire Vidiian attack sequence.

The entire episodes score is good. I've wanted it since I heard it.

I didn't see this listed, so I was wondering if the tracks with a choir from Giacchino's Star Trek that were not included in the Varese releases might be included in this set. These are the tracks I'm aware of:

Welcome Back, Spock
Nero Sighted
Spock Goes Spelunking
An Endangered Species
Nice to Meld You
Does it Still McFly?
Black Holes Have A Lot of Pull
Back from Black

In reading through another thread, it indicated it might not have been financially feasible to include these previously. Either way, I at least had to include this as my final request even if it isn't an option at this point due to re-use fees, licensing, etc. If it is an option, even better. smile

Thanks.
