Ordered about ten or fifteen minutes into the sale... very hard to get the site up and refreshed, but it finally worked! Thank you so much MV and Matt! And, too, John Williams and Steven Spielberg, for okaying this, and giving it your blessing! I've waited 20 years for one of my all-time favorite scores!

Now, how long is shipping in California...? ;P

Hey, I ordered this at 1:10PM, and here it is 3:10PM and it hasn't shipped yet! What kind of service is this?!

I ordered mine at 1:09PM, so your shipping notice can't be far away.

I'm outraged anyway! I've waited twenty years for this CD! Why didn't La La Land release this 20 years ago?! Then I'd have it by now! And don't give me any excuses like that M.V. Gerhard was only fifteen years old at the time – Mozart composed his first symphony at age 8! What do you mean what have I ever accomplished in my life?

Did LaLaLand exist 20 years ago?????

BTW: I ordered them both also. (As all of you know, I am an admitted NEWMANiac...)

A shame the " Searching for Jesus " track is still damaged, since it was repaired on the iso Blu-Ray apparently...

Thank you La La Land for this amazing release. You are truly the preservers of an art. Without your dedication, these works may never see the light of day and be lost forever. Thanks again.

Does anyone happen to know if the track "A Portrait Of Wendy" is the cue where Wendy shows Peter the image of himself as Pan in the bedroom? Thanks.

On THE ROBE cover, Jean Simmons looks more like Judy Garland!

the american poster of the Robe has always been a little strange.

Darryl Zanuck had originally cast Jeanne crain i the part of Diana. Miss crain got pregnant (again ) Jeanne was famous for the number of good roles she lost because she became continuously preganant. Anyway, theyPainted Jeanne in her Diana makeup for theposter very early in the game to promote the film.
the British poster is like the American poster, except they finally replaced Miss Crains head with Jean Simmons.

Wow is right. And it makes me wonder how many they already had pressed. I'm guessing that means they sold more than they expected. Here are some other low quantity/soon to be OOP CDs:
55 Days at Peking: Fewer than 200 remaining
Batman & Batman Returns: Only a few hundred of each left
Uncharted 3: 350 or fewer copies remaining
Speed 2: Fewer than 197 remaining

Also, going out of print on April 30th:
Farscape Classics Volume 3
That Championship Season
Child's Play
Alan Quartermain and the Lost City of Gold
May

The going-OOP CDs all $10 or less, so it's very affordable. Get them now before they are gone for good!

The question is... how big was the first batch?
