Just a heads up that we're doing some server business (SAE is too) and the FSM board will likely be inaccessible for around an hour early this Sunday morning, October 6, 2019. Thanks!

Lukas

Guess we lost a few days of posts?

It certainly looks that way. Sad, too, because Joan had posted a lovely note from Edwzoomom and now it's gone.

Oh, well.

Irretrievable?

Ironically and fortunately, I had no Internet yesterday.
So, nothing of value has been lost!

If you are old enough to remember Watergate, you remember the ' 18 minute gap'.

FSMgate?

Well, I'm not Mr. Kendall, but if I was, I'd be tearing the maintenance crew a new one.
Which, for all we know, he may very well be.

None of what we do here is Shakespeare, but still...

Yeah, I just now noticed posts from yesterday are gone.

Maybe they should wipe out ALL previous posts since the site began.
That way, we can start again.
Imagine all the things we'd have to talk about.
All those scores to discuss anew.

A Brave New World...With Just A Handful Of Men...We'll Start All Over Again.

Removing some posts (not re-setting the site to the previous day) might be part of the maintenance. But it happens every October when Octoberman's powers are at their lowest ebb, so for him it emphasizes his weakened state.

I'm likening October to be your Kryptonite. If one's own planet makes one weak, then...

The funny thing is, the reverse is true.
Autumn is the best time for me, hence the name.

I figured, but the joke requires a kryptonite analogy. Kryptonite poisoning never made sense to me.

You are correct, Bill. She is a sweetie, and she and I are both on Bruce's ignore list which is just fine with us.

Kudos to Lukas for creating and supporting this board!
