Whether it's the same 8/9 tracks that have previously been heard, or the actual complete score I will most assuredly buy this CD!
If in fact the full score was discovered, it makes me wonder if any other musical gems have been unearthed. Imagine hearing Frank Skinner's Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein in all of it's glory!

I haven't been igonring your question, Howard, and it's a lovely thought, but there's a lot going on right now and I won't know until the last minute whether I'll be able to hop on the east-bound train. I'd dearly love to be with all the headless horsemen in attendance at BRIDE, but it's not to be, alas.

Tomorrow is the night for the official premiere of the restored Bride of Frankenstein. If you're close enough to attend the show in Tarrytown, there are several reasons to attend:
In addition to the estimable Mike Mattessino and Uni exec Alexia Baum (who represents the Heritage Collection) it's a rare opportunity to meet John Waxman and be one degree of separation from a Golden Age Great.
The newly struck 4K restoration of the film is a revelation, and the Tarrytown Music Hal has been upgraded for the event with 5.1 Dolby sound and a Christie cinema package to do it justice.
Plus you can meet film music insiders making a rare east-coast appearance, including MV Gerhard and Matt Verboys of La-La Land, Taylor White of Creature Features/Percepto; John Fitzpatrick and Frank K. DeWald of the Rozsa Society, and many others.
Oh yeah, La-La Land is also selling a select batch of CDs at discount prices (tax included and postage free), so come on down and pick up a batch!
The festival has already hosted events with Harry Manfredini and David Shire (who may still be lurking about.) It would be great to see FSMers here to support the event. Be sure and let us know if you can make it!
