It's safe to say Miramanee and Kirok/Kirk (The Paradise Syndrome) had some fun since she got pregnant by mid-episode. smile

The "Wink of an Eye" scene is old news, but probably the only episode with a real signal of sex. What's also interesting is actor Jason Evers (the male alien) was over-the-top Shatner before Shatner. Remember him as the sex-motivated mad scientist in "The Brain that wouldn't die"(1962)? But in the Trek episode, he's much more toned down. Oh, well.

The Eddie Murphy joke about Kirk screwing green women isn't quite accurate (except in the Abrams movie). It was Capt. Pike in the pilot movie, although it's disclosed in a regular episode that "no human male can resist them" which is probably a racist extrapolation of Asian women in the Korean War era.

To add to the list already started, it's implied the previous romances with women in "Court Martial," "Shore leave," "Deadly Years," would continue in those episodes. Kirk might have been with the crazy blonde in "Conscience of the King," and probably Edith Keeler. The hot babe who implanted a romantic memory in his mind in "Dagger of the mind" was no doubt describing a sex scene.
The telekinetic leader in "Plato's Stepchildren" probably manipulated Kirk into having sex with Uhuru, and [gasp] Kirk with Spock, otherwise why was Spock so upset - just because he emoted?
Seems like Kirk must have done the girl in "Mark of Gideon," and the android chick in "Requiem for Methuselah" otherwise why was he so heartbroken after a few hours of hanging around her?

Notice how the film slows down just a second before the commercial break. (sloppy editing?)

I wouldn't call it sloppy editing, just making up for the lack of camera coverage a staging for the fade out. Rather than a freeze frame (which would be use on the Irwin Allen shows and comedies of the era like F-Troop and I Dream of Jeannie), they slowed the film down so they could do the fade out before showing too much.

Nope, because they forced emotion out of Spock. That's it. They explained it pretty clearly. They ripped laughter and then tears out of him, forcing him into a position where he may have badly injured Kirk (the dance portion). There was no sex shown or implied in the scene Spock was reacting to.

Didn't Kirk kind of playfully wrestle with Yvonne Craig when she played the Green Orion Gal in the episode with Garth? I think she was trying to stab him and he overpowered her. As a 10 year old when I first saw that episode I thought she was super sexy in her outfit and will admit she did indeed evoke a Barbara Eden "I Dream of Jeannie" boner from me.

Barbara Luna in MIRROR, MIRROR I also found quite arousing in my youth and into my formative years.

Thought it was awesome that Spock finally "got some" in the episode with Jill Ireland. She was so cute, sexy and beautiful.

Marla McGivers was a cutie and I was jealous/envious of Khan for conquering her.

Angela Martine who lost her husband on their wedding day in BALANCE OF TERROR, a cutie. Found the actresses choice to jerk her head every time she pushed a button on her controls quite funny and silly in a cute way. Didn't she bounce back pretty fast from Tomlinson's Death in the SHORE LEAVE episode hanging out with that Handsome Latino crewman? The one where they are being chased by the P-51 Mustang and she face plants right into a tree.

If you could pick one STAR TREK babe which one would you pick to be the Queen of your Galactic Harem?

Actually, Zoob, Kirk defended himself with the chair. Rael attacks Kirk with a metal instrument.

I like the way Kirk throws the pillow in his face.

You are correct Sir. Thank you. I just remember seeing that futuristic Office Depot chair being used. The alien had like a box cutter or Space stapler as his weapon. What fun.

The same actress, Barbara Baldavin, came back for another episode in season three playing the communications officer in Turnabout Intruder. It helps that she was married to the casting director.

Nope, Spock has emoted before but we've never see him so traumatized by the humiliation except in "Amok Time." The fact that someone else was in control here lets him off the hook, but instead he's crazy angry. Could there be a subtext to explain it? Of course they wouldn't show anything homosexually suggestive, and I didn't say it definitely happened, but it seems like the kind of transgression that Plato fucker would have done. If you don't use some imagination to connect the dots, then Kirk was only adjusting his boot in "Wink of an eye."

If I could pick one STAR TREK lady character, which one would I pick to be the Queen of my Galactic Paradise?

Nancy Crater (Jeanne Bal) always beamed me up - the REAL Nancy Crater, that is, not the toothy, salt-sucking version.

wink

Kirk did get down with an Orion girl in the 2009 movie. Not that I consider that real Star Trek.

Yup. She was the inspiration for the old "Star Trek Yum!" thread.

With all due respect to Kirk, Spock had the most beautiful crush.
