I saw the show when it came out and enjoyed it. Love the theme by Mancini. I too am now watching it on Antenna TV.
Mary Frann was a beautiful woman. But it always struck me odd she over-dressed so much for the show about a small bed & breakfast in a small town in Vermont. She looked liked she was ready to walk down the runway in a New York City fashion show!
I noticed that too, the same with Julia Duffy.
Well she was the host. She could really fill out a sweater too!
Didn't Mancini's theme replace Nelson Riddle's from the first season?
Mancini wrote the theme and Nelson scored the episodes frequently using quotes from the theme. I played piano on a couple of episodes. One I recall took place in a drive in movie that was showing a horror movie. It was probably the longest cue for the show. Mostly they were bumpers lasting only a few seconds.
