Hoping for RoboCop 2!

Then you didn't read what you shared -- "first time on CD" wink

I'd look at Rosenman LPs that haven't made it to CD yet (though it could also be something entirely unreleased).

The MCA Records LP of 9/30/55 seems likely if you look at the date when this new CD will be released - just two days before the anniversary of James DeanĀ“s death.

Perhaps it's Rosenman's PORK CHOP HILL, which in my estimation has one of the very corniest Main Titles of all time:

Peck looks like the perfect plastic toy soldier.

Ralph Ferraro probably wouldn't have let Rosenman get away with that main title, but the b&w war setting reminded me of another title I'd really like (as well as the movie):
THE OUTSIDER (1961)

Yes, that's more like the Rosenman I appreciate.

I think it's going to be a CD release of a soundtrack that has been on LP, but never released on CD.

If it's what I think it is, I'll be quite happy.

Robocop 2 is already on CD, no first time for this soundtrack.

There's no chance in hell but I'd love it if it was The Crowded Sky which has never seen a release, not even on vinyl.

Countdown has already been released...
There are so many TV scores from the seventies and a dozen movie scores ..also mainly from the seventies ,unreleased.
Even though Rosenman is probably the one composers who is most repetitive in his work, a very interesting choice for Varese.

I'm sure the term "low hanging fruit" applies.
