If there was s "Bond girls who do nothing for me" she would be at the top.
The Marshall Impotence
Well a woman with zero sex-appeal tends to do that. I consider her the Sarah Jessica Parker of Bondgirls, then again most of the Bond-girls were not all that good looking.

As they say, different strokes for different folks... Personally most of the Bond girls do nothing for me. (Either)
Have all of them, read all of them long ago. But I've only ever enjoyed re-reading the first 2 since. If I was quizzed about the later ones I would fail. I never ventured into those that Herbert's kid took over on.
I agree with you----the woman in the white-rimmed sunglasses and hat looks like Joan Cusack to me.
Maud Adams and Roger Moore stated she was on the cable car, but they didn't say who she was. When I checked out her cameo on the internet, all sources said it's the lady with the white-rimmed sunglasses and hat.
I laud the plans for "Dune", but I can't help but think there is too fine a line between making a Dune film and making a Dune film that will do well enough at the Box Office to warrant green-lighting party II and the sequels. I wish the project well - I'd love to finally see the story pan out more on-screen after being a fan of the books for many years....who knows!! [snip]
I think this is a pertinent point. I have read all the Dune series except for the ones not penned by Frank Herbert. The narrative style of the books has a very strong internal dialogue element to it which is quite difficult to render on screen. Lynch's version did pretty well although I was not happy with the aesthetics of it. I think it did a good job of condensing the very intricate plot down to something serviceable for a film.
The TV series were very well done considering their budgets and the quality of their cgi.
For me, one thing both versions failed to represent well was the Guild Navigator and the navigator sequence.
I would certainly like to see an aesthetic more akin the that shown on the covers of the original trilogy of paperback books - Dune, Dune Messiah and Children of Dune.
This project would have to be done, I think, on a scale similar to the LOTR books with a similar finance and adaptation commitment to the source material, bearing in mind that it will be a visual adaptation. The music will be extremely important I think, as it was to the LOTR films.
