Bud Plant, Mile High, and Fantagraphics were my go-to spots. (Last Gasp used to have an impressive multi-booth display years ago, but as booth space rates rise like a rocket, many vendors, like Bud Plant, elect to downsize versus take a bath.)

The latest word on this. The header is a bit disingenous, but it's an interesting discussion.

What an asshat. If he's only been attending SDCC since 2005, he's clueless. He doesn't know what it was like in the 80s or even 90s.

"Crazy 4 Comic Con"...smh.

Is anyone familiar with major soundtrack panels? I saw one for TV soundtracks featuring a bunch of composers I've never heard of. I didn't notice anything with any medium to big size names though.

Any new movie screenings scheduled?

Any Soundtrack booths?

Sadly, no La La Land this year. frown

I STILL CANT BELIEVE it
People standing in line for 5 hours for a panel 'discussion' which is nothing more than a live infomercial!
brm

ps
Riotengine told me he stood in line for 4 hrs, for the SUPERGIRL panel!!!

My strategy was always: Let the fools stand in line for 6+ hours for a panel, while I roam Artist Alley. big grin

Well 5 hours is a bit much. But I'm going to be in line at 9AM on Friday for the 1:30PM Game of Thrones panel. Either I get in earlier and sit through Walking Dead panels or I actually sit in line that long. Either way I will have a book with me. The draw is to see the actors and actresses on the panel in front of you discussing your favorite shows.

What would you assume is going to be shown at the panel? They don't say yet on the schedule. It is the first show of the day so I have to really care about it to get in line early enough to actually get into see it.

EDIT: NVM Found some ideas of what they are having for it.
"Warner Bros. is bringing Aquaman, Justice League, Blade Runner 2049, Ready Player One and more to Comic-Con International in San Diego this year."

Heh. Not hardly. I stopped doing Hall H (and the equivalent) years ago. Waiting in lines takes time away from my table. I'm a busy man, Bruce. I need to make money. I've got kittens to feed. smile

Don't you just love it when Marshall and riotengine do their "Wint and Kidd" routine?

Anyone have specific plans for panels and such? Or interests to meet up at specific times?
