Excellent deal - thanks! I've had my eye on Northwest Passage and the Mandel trilogy for some time - happy to take advantage.

I already have all of the other box sets I want from this list - the one I listen to the most (alongside the Bernstein and Rozsa) is Ron Jones' phenomenal Trek box. Though I don't know if it's worth it for anyone other than die-hard trekkers, it's my favorite music for all things Star Trek these days (and yes, I do mean all things, I'm the Trekkeriest Trekkie I know).

Such a deal!

Did the Bernstein set just sell out? I can't find it on SAE anymore.

I just purchased the Ron Jones box set and had it delivered this week. That's unfortunate timing (for me).

Yes, seems that they FINALLY sold last copies from that "less than 25 copies" (if I remember, this status didn't changes for YEARS!) batch.

*edit*

Cart problem I was having seems to be resolved after rebooting my computer. Still odd, in that I'd never encountered such an error before (cart showing up as empty after adding items to it).

I had "Danger: Diabolik! / Per Qualche Dollaro in Piu'" in my cart... but it disappeared as I was checking out. SOLD OUT too now, I guess.

There are no links or anything, and the titles don't appear when I search for them??? I'm thinking of the Antonioni set.

Thor, I received an email from Screen Archives with links. It noted the Antonioni set had only two copies. By the time you read the email it was probably gone. The link in the email takes you to a page noting "This title is no longer available."

Agreed, I made a beeline for this set, affordable at last.
Cannot wait to dig into this thing - reading the online description is a bit overwhelming, there is so much there!

Haha. That's exactly what I was thinking, since that's one of the couple dozen FSM releases I still don't have yet. Ditto Lassie. Would spring on both of those if they were discounted! Of this bunch I think the only one I don't have is the Mandel, which I will try to pick up. But an amazing unprecedented deal for the amazing Bernstein, Rozsa, and Jones box sets...all of which I'm pretty sure I got at full price.

It definitely was not user-friendly - quite tedious process, copying the titles into the search field one by one only to be told, 'not found.'

I did manage to score the two Godfather collections thought. Ordered with the expanded SUMMER STORY - very excited about that one!

Typically when a title sells out at SAE, they remove the page completely.

Even though it isn't part of the sale this set is incredible IMO If it ever goes OOP look for expensive secondary market prices. Great composers and the artwork layout booklet designs are awesome.

I'd like to add that the Johnny Mandel set with The Sandpiper is essiential and an exellent price.
