Oh wow! What a way to end the year! JP was my first ever soundtrack purchase. Dream come true to get it expanded and remastered particularly after just seeing Jurassic Park Live performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra!! It wasn't my first soundtrack but I remember playing it on cassette endlessly and it was one of the scores which really got me into orchestral music, impossible to articulate how much this music means to me. And I saw it live at the Royal Albert Hall recently too, I'd always been a little dubious of live to projection concerts but it was an absolutely incredible experience. Thanks for this La La Land, I'll be ordering it the second it goes on sale!

Oh, boy! Will definitely buy. Question time, however: This looks like it's pretty close to a complete and chronological release. What do people with more familiarity with the scores say?

Oh, boy! Will definitely buy. Question time, however: This looks like it's pretty close to a complete and chronological release. What do people with more familiarity with the scores say? The first one looks complete indeed but if I remember correctly the film version of The Hunt was quite different (and perhaps also longer) than the album version. But yeah, this is definitely a must buy! Jurassic Park was my very first film score, really looking forward to this release.

Looks like a splendid release... very nice cover, probably very good booklet... I am tempted... though the original soundtracks as they were released back in its day are very good contentwise, and while neither complete nor chronological, they have an excellent musical flow.
