Solium's rite. They are like drugs.
They can mess wiv your head and make you so crazy whole days can go by!
During which you cannot concentrate at work and you make bad blunders.
And you can drive whole journeys thinkin about them, and arrive at your destination and not know how you got there.
Then you want your soundtracks for comfort.

A Dangerous breed.

You gotta see the irony here - youre asking soundtrack nerds about relationships?!!

He, he...I was just about to say the same thing.

I haven't been in a relationship in 10 years (and even that was more of a romance than a relationship), so I'm not one to give advice. So I won't.

I realize these comments are meant in jest, but honestly, what does a person's hobbies have to do with the relationships he or she may have with others? From what I can tell, there are many members of this board in long lasting and loving relationships, so many of us have to have done something right along the way! Similarly, I have been to plenty of comic book, Star Trek, and Star Wars conventions, all of which elicit the typical mother's basement jokes about the fanbase, but again, many attendees, particularly those older, seem to be in loving relationships, and even celebrate the genre as a family with matching costumes. Although particular interests draw many jokes, I doubt that there is any correlation between one's interests and one's ability to interact with others, particularly in a romantic way.

Exactly. That hasn't been my experience either.

And it turned out the only girl I've ever really enjoyed dating long-term anyway was, coincidentally, one who was a "Star Wars"/Beatles/Film Score fan --- like me!! smile

Why bother in a relationship with someone you have nothing in common with? You're wasting both of your time otherwise....

I wonder if there's any dudes who's parents are dead, and they still live in their basement?

"Trust me, the ONE doesn't exist."

Hold on there, Joe 1956!
Your personal experience does not apply to everyone!

I have found MY "ONE"!

And… YOU may find yours tomorrow!

Get back to me when you're 60....
