The only music I know of Beck is his work on Buffy, We Are Marshall, Frozen and Ant-Man.
I'm certainly intrigued to say the least at hearing any score replacement of one of the greatest of all-time, no matter the composer. I don't think two days will pass where I won't play some piece by James.
My favourite Beck score is unquestionably PHOEBE IN WONDERLAND, which I also related to him during the interview. But there were some good bits in THE 12TH MAN -- when it wasn't all aggressive and ostinato-driven.
But yeah, really wish they'd release it. Must have been cancelled in the last minute or something cause I asked him when it was released about a score album and he said "hoping to have an announcement next week!". Still waiting, lol!
It took me several attempts to get the music, because the e-mail Beck gave me after the interview didn't work (he promised he would send me something for my yearly summations). But I eventually got hold of him, and got some tracks -- presumably those he had prepared for album release, but that never saw the light of day. The music wasn't quite as interesting as I had remembered from the film, but has some highlights.

I finally saw the film. Loved it! What a great Norwegian hero Baalsrud was.
I saw the film without knowing who the composer was (I had forgotten about this thread). I thought it may have been Johan Søderqvist, but it wasn't really his style. Beck's score was quite good, I have to say. Weird that a soundtrack never came.
The tracks I got seemed to suggest a forthcoming album. 18 tracks, properly "album named". Some 1 hour in length. No idea why it never happened. There were, however, no Horner stylings in it that I could hear.
