"A new batch of titles coming from the Varèse Sarabande CD Club! Four new releases will be announced December 1, 2014. The scores being released span 47 years" -Bob Townsend via Facebook

UPDATE: Our friend Driving Miss Daisy at Varese has confirmed to me that Varese will begin shipping orders on the 1st week of the announcement I.e. 1st Dec. Thats a game changer!

For shipment in January ?

Ok cynical mode disengaged. Is this the new club model now - 1 batch a year with the odd title like Star Trek in between ? Disappointed considering how many wonderful titles Varese hold in perp.

Anyway.....

Yay, I just knew had to be a batch after last year's six titles in December smile

Some Encore releases in here perhaps?

I'd like to see John Barry's Jagged Edge in there somewhere...

Why I still love Varese's batches?
Years and years people blame them for releasing no interesting titles...
But years and years people suggest that new batch will be better than previous )))

You can only be sure of that if the most recent score was composed THIS year.

Damn, withLLL Black Friday and a Varese batch december will be expensive!

Predator 2 is almost a certain release. There will probably be an 80's or 90's Goldsmith score (cause Goldsmith always sells) and didn't hint MV that someone would do a Ghostbusters 1 & 2 combo? Maybe in this batch?

Why is Predator 2 certain? I know it's mentioned in these threads all the time but has someone hinted it's coming?

d2 Mastering listed Predator 2 in their Soundtracks/Soundtrack Reissues 2014 list.
Last year they listed Abyss, and in December Varese released it...

Thanks, fair enough! smile What with this, Shaft, The Passion, Enterprise (probably) and The Last Starfighter, most of the December titles have been discovered early this year!
