Not sure I would could them 'plot spoilers' for a film that is 30+ years old though. There's always a younger generation of films fans discovering classic movies of the past for the first time. Indeed. I am 27 and although I have been a movie buff since my childhood (not that I suppose I would watch Body Heat at the age of 12!), I still haven't seen many classic titles - including this one -, especially due to my primary dedication to the European cinema. In general terms, I think that the soundtracks should always avoid plot spoilers in track titles (maybe beyond something like "Death of Goldfinger"). Bernard Herrmann's brief track titles ("The Window", "The Death", "The Arrival"...) are fine example of viewer-friendly approach. Body Heat in particular is a film I never came across so far and even if I did now I don't think I would watch it due to this spoiler--or at least until I forget it. Unless it’s a major surprise plot twist within a film, I’ve never understood this modern concern about divulging “spoilers” – a term which didn’t seem to be in use until the internet. Theatrical trailers up to say the ‘70s, when the style of trailers changed, were often like mini-films and regularly portrayed major plot elements, yet no-one ever complained. Nowadays, divulging the most innocuous plot points seem to be regarded as “spoilers”. For anyone who has not seen BODY HEAT I can guarantee that knowing the title of that final track is not going to spoil enjoyment of the film in any way – it’s largely irrelevant to the progression of the main story.

I agree totally; of more importance is the spoiler indicated by the title to track 6 ... just when does that Cat make an appearance? Agreed. Wholeheartedly. If you haven't seen this movie yet, see it ASAP, regardless of whether you have committed the track titles to memory or not.
