Still not in stock at Amazon. Is it on its way there in the next few days, or should I order it elsewhere? (I have a few other things to get from them so if I can save the shipping and not have to wait for weeks, I'll do that.)

Amazon will receive their copies on Monday, though I don't how much is for pre-orders and how much (if any) is for inventory. Prior experience with Amazon selling our Night of the Living Dead documentary is there were issues with them actually keeping the item in stock.

HOLY CRAPOLA. I just got this in the mail today and I'm on track 3 and I'm freaking BLOWN AWAY. If you have worried on the sound quality at all, don't be, it sounds fan tastic! WOW, I just can't say it enough, WOW.

By the way, I LOVE the painted pictures of our favorite scenes from the film, really incredible. I think I met that artist at a convention, he was incredibly nice and sweet!! Glad to see his work is in here, if it is indeed his work!!

It's all downhill after track #3. wink

The cover and interior artwork was created by Mark Owen, and you probably never met him unless you visit the U.K. As soon as I saw his work, I knew his style was perfect for anything related to Night of the Living Dead.

You can find more of Mark's work here:

The notes were absolutely great. I told you in person about how I find all this stuff fascinating, the music and the music rights and you put in a great deal of that stuff in the liner notes.

I love the special treat at the end, how in the hell did you find a version of that that is incredibly clear. The ones I've heard have all been so wishy washy, this one sounds as if it's been recorded yesterday.

I tip my hat to you and I hope more people get this and get the word out. I'm waiting on someone to do a track re-name on here of the tracks. Someone with more time and more acquainted with the film would do a great job. That's a bummer because of rights you weren't able to, but, great that you told us that in the notes, cause you KNOW someone on here would be yelling about it.

Again, a wonderful job. I have officially thrown out ALL my boots of this score!! Those boots sound like crap to this one.

Damn right you did. I got mine today....what a piece of garbage. This thing sucks. The sound is too crisp. The liner notes are too detailed, and the art design too good. I can't believe I wasted my money on this latest Jim C. scam!

Just kidding great job Jim! It kicks ass!

You know something, you're causing quite a bit of grief by saying this CD is perfect. What am I supposed to do next? big grin

Seriously, thanks for your comments and support. There are many cues that I wish could have been better quality but the source material just wasn't available. Glad that you found the unannounced bonus at the end.

If you really want a track re-name, I've already got one and it's no big deal to post it here. That was probably the first thing done on the CD, laying out the track listing only to be told "hey, you can't do that!"

The sound is too crisp.

By "too crisp," do you mean like bacon frying? big grin

It is really well done. My only complaint would be the digipak format as I prefer jewel cases. They help to minimize any possible damage. But this is a personal preference. This is a definite knock out, Jim. A true labor of love and I hope that it pays off for ya! Cheers.

I hear ya. You have a nice collection with consistent packaging, and then someone has to go and screw it all up! wink

But actually, the shrink-wrapped digipak prevents the disc from coming dislodged during shipping.

So you're using the digipak... as a beer coaster?

I oughta drag you outside and feed you to those things! razz

Actually , if you had held the bottle the opposite way, it would look like the stairs corpse was taking a much-needed swig.

Haha I was hoping that's what you would say. And actually, one too many of those and one can start to feel like the stairs corpse. Speaking of which, the artwork really is awesome.

What's all this iTunes crap? razz

You can thank this man for the awesome artwork: http://s679.photobucket.com/albums/vv159/markchro/My%20Artwork/

So will this be the first CD release to sport a bootleg track listing?

Haha well the way that I did it in my iTunes was I used the movie track first with the actual cue title in parentheses.

Funny how in the liner notes it is stated how cohesive a score this is despite being a hodgepodge of library music. It is totally true too. The two tracks that I noticed a lot of cohesion on are Flight from the Cemetery (Heavy Agitato) and Truck on Fire (Heavy Dramatic) despite being credited to different composers. They both have similar low end rhythmic figures at times. I also love the Spencer Moore tracks that bookend the CD.
