Dunno, it just looks like Bridget Fonda was busy so Elfman brought his high priced gigolo to the premiere.

Imagine the crap you'd get for that statement if it had been originally scored by somebody like Deborah Lurie or Jessica de Rooij...

Tyler was just interviewed at the premiere. There's a Vision theme. No mention of Elfman.

I really starting to think he might not know about Elfman, or he thinks that he's just one of his many additional arrangers. Reading a transcript of the interview at the premiere was almost as distracting as watching it. For example:

RED CARPET REPORTER: We're here with one of the composers of The Avengers, Brian Tyler.

[hairspray sounds]

RED CARPET REPORTER: So Brian, can you take me through your process. How do you manage to work this much, write this much music, while still maintaining such a sleek, well-rested look?

[hairspray sounds]

BRIAN TYLER: (smolders)

RED CARPET REPORTER: What's next?

[hairspray sound sputtering; the emptying can is thrown to the ground by Brian Tyler, who holds out his Apple Watch in the direction of the can as it bounces around the carpet, against the metal barricades and finally into the street as it rolls away, just out of frame]

RED CARPET REPORTER: Brian, can you tell me about the new theme?

BRIAN TYLER: (looks at Apple Watch, satisfied, hits Play and holds watch up to his flawlessly chiseled visage; it is impossible to tell which is more priceless at the present moment) That's the perc track. That's "Vision." (starts to dial iPhone)

RED CARPET REPORTER: (turns to camera): Brian Tyler, one of the numerous superstars behind the music of The Avengers. An exclusive listen to the "Vision" theme. Let's throw it to Byron Allen, he's got David Alan Grier and family.

Shaun this post cracked me up ... i nearly wet myself ( hairspray sounds)

Does anyone have a video of Brian Tyler playing the visions theme on his Apple Watch?

Adam Kaczynski is working on getting a copy, don't worry. We'll all know.

Sounds Elfman to me

Does sound like a bit of blend of Elfman and Tyler... sadly it didn't do much for me (at least if this is real).

Chris.

Sounds generic enough to be something a rational person would reject before calling Elfman.

The Marvel page updated. Turns out the two tracks with the asterisk, both Elfman, don't feature in the movie.

From the review... ‘Farmhouse’ is a wonderful treatment of the theme, with acoustic guitar that evokes Americana and strings that seem to underly more internal conflicts than the ones we’re used to. It has versatility, so while it’s beautiful and thoughtful in that cue, it sounds inspiring and exciting in ‘Avengers Unite’.
--------------------------------------------

The minute I saw that track title and that Elfman wrote it, THAT'S EXACTLY how I imagined it would sound smile
Really looking forward to hearing the score in the film and getting the CD.

Very encouraging review Charlie, thank you!
Elated Silvestri's theme wasn't left behind.

Sounds like Silvestri's Captain America theme isn't used, though?

this sounds much more "acoustic" than I expected, not the much too dense layers but orchestrated and recorded transparently.
