Tyler Bates might not be everyones favourite Film Composer for whatever reason ....but he IS talented and inventive and will continue to have a VERY successful career in the industry of that I am very certain of .

As I said, on occasion, Ford's posterior-cajoling on behalf of composers on whose cooperation he might one day depend on goes a little far.
Personally, I have no axes to grind with regards to Tyler Bates. It's just that I listened to several of his scores, and they all suck. He does have my sympathy for having to work with that clueless hack Markus Nispel on a regular basis - but, to be fair, working with clueless hack directors never stopped other film composers from delivering the goods.
