Nice! This is a short but beautiful score, particularly if you dig Horner's intimate dramatic scoring.

Cool. Remember owning this on a boot once.

I love how these ol' Horner treasures are being unearthed and given the treatment they deserve. I wonder what the man himself feels about it.

Lukas, is this limited to exactly 2000 units, no more? If so, I'd like purchase more than one, for some friends. They're out of the country on vacation.

It's Paramount.

It's so nice to finally see TESTAMENT officially released on CD. Well worth the price even for so short a score. It's too bad FSM couldn't pair this with Horner's equally emotional and restrained score for the next year's THE STONE BOY. (But I think they may be owned by different studios.)

I agree with the FSM crew; this deserves to be released on it's own. It's quite a treat for fans of his early material. He's working brilliant ideas into this score--just listen to track 2. Thanks, a lot, guys. It doesn't say so, but did Horner produce this release?

Sweet, more unexpected Horner!

THIS is the kind of Horner score that I just go weak in the knees for. Small, intimate and horribly sad and depressing. We'll not all of it is THAT sad, but parts of it are just gut wrenchingly sad when you watch it with the film. Great job guys.

Going to check this out later today; now I have an excuse to buy Rascals and Robbers. Two Horner scores!

Absolutely fantastic. Thank you, FSM!

Sorry, I simply can't listen to the high-pitched notes on some of the samples (like Track 9, and the main title). What is that sound? Synth I assume.
I remember (amongst others) one of Alexander Courage's Lost In Space scores containing a similar, painful continuous tone. My ears seem to react badly to that frequency.

Great and unexpected selection! Powerful film with a spot-on score.

Quite shocking to read about the scarcity of 3M multitrack machines. I wonder how future 3M projects would be handled if the remaining devices became extinct...

I'm also curious about this. And how many treasures are still in need of the 3M multitrack machines?
