Why not respond to my original reply which debunked your complaining? Because you couldn't respond intelligently? And any sniping is in response to yours, so you're getting the cause and effect reversed. Wtf?!!!? You got me about as confused as anyone could be. Debunked your complainin? What complaining about my complaining, complaining about you? Anyway you promised to put me on ignore some while ago, so can you fix that? Thank you.

And I probably was ignoring you, but Marshall made me reactivate you. After I reactivated him. To recap, I asked two questions after Bill brought up playing poker with Omar. 1. Was it random or a celebrity event? The answer was essential it was random. 2. Any interesting banter or was Omar treated like any other player? Here you flipped out, responding to my question and Marshall's inquiry about selfies: So no questions about meeting sir michael caine or arnie? No, you too wanna know endless fkn details about a short card game that happened circa 79/80?! No selfies - this was before mobiles. These were the days when you took 2 pictures at a concert and it was another 2 years before you used up the film in your kodak instamatic. Other than me joking with him about the well - which was inbetween hands, no. He talked to the dealer mostly i think, who he knew. Have you played poker? Its inappropriate to talk. I replied with the obvious points, Why would I ask about other celebs when you brought up Omar? How is asking two questions the same as "endless fkn details"? And even though you did speak with him, and he to the dealer, you concluded your rant with a put-down that I (or we) were ignorant of poker etiquette. Bizarre response since you stated there WAS dialog during and inbetween playing, and a completely uncalled for insult. The irony is, I was only asking out of politeness.

Doctor Who? Disqualification After years of devotion I could almost agree after the reveal of the year before last when SHE threw back her hood. But up to then I was deliriously happy fanboy, also having met all the post Classic Series lead (male) stars barring Chris Eccleston. Now it's just disappointment and despair. But on a good day reminiscing about the good old days (which I think is between 1963 and 1984) I'd say you missed out baby if you weren't a fellow Who-loon back in the day.. Anyway, how about famous people we had the chance to meet but didn't? There are only two on my list. I regret it because in both cases I knew about it and didn't bother for the laziest of reasons: Adam West and Christopher Lee. Even though I knew at the time I would deeply regret it I still didn't make the effort. And now here I am forever regretting those incredibly stupid decisions. On the other hand I did at last meet the late, great Ray Harryhausen. When I got him to sign my copy of the cover of the wonderful Intrada Jason and the Argonauts cd, at a small intimate event in Chesterfield, I was astounded to hear him say he knew nothing about it...

Not even the crooked spire? Well, they say you should never meet your heroes. Mmm. Harryhausen and Chesterfield's crooked spire. Somewhere there, there's a scene with one of his giant monsters and the landmark. If the Golden Gate Bridge ain't safe... Two issues I have with this meeting was that I contemplated doing him a copy just so he could hear how good it was, but thought better of it because of copyright (though this IS Harryhausen here!) etc., and I never got a goddamn photo! He did let us handle the monsters though. I've actually held Medusa in my hands. Now that's not something you'd get in an exhibition.

Ha, this reminds me (how could I forget?) I met Leonard Rosenman back some time in the early/mid 1990s. Really articulate and engaging personality

Great stuff. Made my day! I only wish we'd taken photos, because I'd be able to brag about the other monsters! I'm fairly sure there was a skeleton there of course. That has to be a given..
