Hi Everyone, This writer recently just dug out his LOST collection of CDs which I am proud to own from Varese. Listening to the selections from the episode THE LIGHTHOUSE. Giacchino seems to be nodding to Goldsmith with those amazing string pitch-bends! They remind me of Twilight Zone The Movie a bit or The Haunting (1999). Giacchino showed us that he could bring amazing versatility to such small ensembles there, and really bring out the musicianship. I feel that LOST is a well that could be revisited. I think upon the excellent LA LA LAND television sets they have done in recent years, and even the BATMAN: ANIMATED SERIES discs released over time. The Varese LOST discs are all excellent representations and satisfactory. But I am greedy; I would always enjoy more music on album. Would it be possible, or even profitable to do, say, a 6-CD set of LOST: SEASON 1, deep diving into episode scores more and providing previously unreleased cues? I feel this would work well for SEASON 2, 4 and 5 as well. (3 and 6 seem well represented.) Just a thought! Ciao! -Rick O. I love the series and the music, but what we've got now is probably all we're ever gonna get, unless someone releases the concert recording on CD. I'm not In The Business, but 6 CD's for one season of the show will NEVER happen, there's just not a wide enough audience for the music.

Maybe not 6 discs a season, but a treatment of each season or perhaps compilations like they did for the X-Files and I would be all over that set for sure!
