Just to clear the air
Any company like SAE or Intrada, that ordered BOTH Bond titles will not be receiving any units until mid to late February when more units arrive.
If you ordered from the La-La Land Records website this is what is currently going on
Live and Let Die is in stock and is shipping out to customers who did NOT order Octopussy
All orders containing Octopussy will BEGIN SHIPPING (note the word BEGIN) when Octopussy arrives. We have been told by UME, the manufacturer of said discs, that we should expect Octopussy to arrive by months end (fingers crossed). Once it does, we will start the process of getting out the all the orders we have sitting here at the office.
We apologize for any inconvenience this delay may has caused but believe me, we are 1 billion times more frustrated by the delays than all of you. We hope to remedy the situation and have your cds out and in your hands as soon as possible

I know the shipping delays for the Bonds are a sore point for the label, so I, typically unwelcomed, had to pile on.
If you ordered Bonds...ya gotta wait. I did via SAE. Life will find a way.
Hell, that held up order, thanks 007, includes a CD2, the album program of Battle Beyond The Stars from TWO orders ago! (I received two of CD1 - check your set of BBTS folks, telling ya!).
Be patient people, that's the only message.
The L included what they could & what they should have. They worked their bleedin asses off to be met by....complaints.
Put yourself in MV or Matt's shoes before you start abusing. These guys have our best interests in mind, since we keep the bloody lights on for them!

I always say that it’s like a fine wine it’s worth waiting for, a few weeks delay is nothing when it’s been 50 years for a fully expanded Live & Let Die score in film order with extras & 40 years for a John Barry fully expanded Octopussy Bond score in film order with extras
Can’t wait to receive them both & fingers crossed that we see more expanded Bond scores this year

And what about the circus music?! Won't ANYONE think of....the circus music!?!
I almost wish more Bond hadn't happened. It's making me sad. I have a circus party in a neighbor's backyard next weekend, and not only was I really counting on those circus cues, now I cant even karaoke Rita bloody Coolidge, as I sold it to the laddies!
What AMMA gonna do LLL? Will you compensate me for your failures? Will you????
Yeah! Get the lawyers on the case. This has gone too far. The entire neighbor circus party is now obviously wrecked, compensation is due.
Let all the specialty labels take heed so that they will henceforth concentrate more on circus music and less on film scores.
