Most of the out-of-print special edition soundtrack releases go for high collectors' prices online and elsewhere. So I'm hoping a lot of them get reissues (either through their original label or elsewhere) at the selling price of 15 to 30 bucks a pop at some point. My top ten currently is: Cleopatra Jones/C. Jones and the Casino of Gold (FSM) Damnation Alley (Intrada) The Island at the Top of the World (Intrada) Krull (complete score) (LLL) Living in the Age of Airplanes (Intrada) A Prayer for the Dying (Quartet) The Serpent and the Rainbow (deluxe) (Varese) Shamus (Intrada) 2 Days in the Valley (Goldsmith unused) (Intrada) The White Buffalo (remastered) (Quartet) Who else is eager for some reissues of OOP scores?

Curious that there are other labels which offer(ed) special editions/expansions (Kritzerland, Music Box, Beat records, etc.) who are not mentioned - so far - in this thread. To my thinking, though, future re-issues are less likely to materialize if the owners of the music (not the labels) are unwilling to participate in this business.

Billion Dollar Brain (Kritzerland/FSM originally) - not a "special edition" as such, since it was "just" the album presentation - but what an album and what a score! Alex North's original recording for 2001. The unused score to The China Syndrome - Michael Small. Inspector Clouseau (another Kritzerland). Ice Station Zebra (no idea how I missed this - it was on sale for about 120 years, and always in stock: hoping that means it was a strong seller for FSM, always requiring a re-press, rather than something that hung about, unloved). Varese's Bernard Herrmann boxset - or, more accurately, the bits of the Bernard Herrmann boxset that weren't subsequently licensed by other parties. In particular, the remastered versions of Garden of Evil, Mrs. Muir, Centre of the Earth (all probably Varese in perpetuity titles). A slew of early-ish Intrada Horner titles. Elmer Bernstein's take on Torn Curtain. Again, not a "special edition", but... And a host of others, but these are the ones that are probably the most desired.
