Wonderful! I remember looking for the soundtrack CD everywhere when I saw the movie in the cinema but it was nowhere to be found. Finally LLL comes to the rescue!
The legendary, masterful Björn Isfält is so under-represented on disc. If you don't already own the film music compilation of his music, you should acquire it asap. It's a must-have for all serious film music fans. It's been ages since I saw the film, but I welcome any Isfält with open arms (the Alan Parker stuff would just be bonus, sorry Alan).
I watched this film many many years ago, but can't remember a note of music. It's on the telly this week and I've set the Virgin Box to record it to reacquaint myself. What's the deal on the co-compose? Did they work together or have competing scores used by the filmmakers?

From the credit on the film and on the CD, my guess would be that Isfalt wrote the first score, that he was essentially replaced by Parker but that enough Isfalt music was ultimately used that he got co-credit (though this is totally speculation on my part).
Well the director Lasse Hallström used Istalt on My Life As A Dog - I guess something must've happened.
Yeah. Hallström and Isfält had a collaboration in Sweden going on at the time, but I'm guessing they had to go for a bigger name when he went international (not that Alan Parker is a big name, necessarily, but at least an international one).
By the way, MY LIFE IS A DOG is one of the finest films in the history of Scandinavian cinema. A must-watch for everyone. It's also one of the best and most gorgeous scores of our region, ever, and thankfully it's out on CD (along with Stefan Nilsson's PELLE THE CONQUEROR, which is one of my alltime favourite Nordic scores).
