An extra star for the whole hilarious scene where Christine reads her kids book. If only the whole episode had been that funny. I do have to say, though, that the writer's approach to how Harry turned the class around, was a brilliant little piece of writing.

An extra star for the back and forth between Dan and the disenfranchised old man who just wanted to be Santa. True in many ways, and really gave Dan some heart. This was a good episode. I'm almost tempted to give it another half star.

Notes: Singer Mel Torme must have been a fan of the show -- he's been in so many episodes. This is two in a row now. IMDb says ten, but I swear it has been more than that.
Mel says he has a daughter named "Melody" and shows a photo, but looking online, there doesn't appear to be a "Melody Torme", but he did have a daughter named Daisy Torme and that photo looks like it's her:

Stephen Root really held this episode together.
Notes: You know what would be really enjoyable? If Stephen Root was in the new series; he would play the same character (Willard) and he still owns the court hours and sublets it. Has his own room, goes around doing things, hanging out in the lunch room, etc. He got board in Florida, and inspired by his [my idea] half brother -- billionaire Jimmy James -- he came back and got himself a building. Stephen Root just isn't utilized enough, in my opinion.
This was also his second (and final) episode. He memorably played Death earlier in the series.

Took a full star off of the standard rating because of how boring it is. Not just because it is boring, but even though we don't see her in the episode, Art is marrying Bull's annoying mother, so that means she'll be seen again probably before the show ends in a few episodes.

Notes: Another episode that doesn't make sense. Just a few episodes ago Harry got a budget of three hundred dollars to remake his office and at one point we see everything was taken out so they could paint. They would have found the safe back then.
