We (Mrs TG and I) returned home today after the usual dispiriting supermarket run to find a lovely housewarming gift from Dog and Mrs Belle on the doorstep, all the way from that part of the USA in the middle and down a bit.
We’re touched beyond words that you even thought of it, Dog, let alone going to the trouble of actually doing it.
We see and hear about the crazy bad things that go on around the globe all the time. That people like you still exist makes it just a little easier to bear.

It’s a new build so hasn’t been free of snags, and it’s taken ten weeks to get broadband in (working from home on a dongle in an area with a patchy phone signal wasn’t much fun) and the rear garden is a wasteland of dock leaves and other assorted weeds... but it’s home
