I've been a great fan since I saw Depeche Mode live at Red Rocks in Colorado in the early 90s. Awesome show, and I loved their performance documentary (101) -- so much fun and almost like being there at the Rose Bowl before a huge crowd. Not a synth guy (as re film scores anyway) as First Breath knows, but DM's music and sound effects were always spot on with their offbeat lyrics. I guess I've always pictured the guys as I first saw them 30 years ago, so what a shock to hear of Andy Fletcher's passing. Thanks for the great music and RIP Andy!

I was at that concert (Rose Bowl, back in 1988). There were big 35-mm cameras everywhere, but they didn't distract from the show at all.
