Counting the "kills" in some of those movies could be quite challenging and require lots of rewinding. Also, how do you know they are not just grievously injured but still live? wink

Kevin Costner a bit of a surprise on that list....lots of kills in Waterworld maybe?

Sean Bean is such a light weight!

How many people did Henry Cavill's Superman (unintentionally) kill in Man of Steel? Surely in the thousands with whole buildings falling down.

These characters are so dull and boring. Just can't get into this series. Love or hate the Raimi series the cast had charisma.

I love Holland and Batalon in their roles, although agree about Zendaya.

Holland is vastly better than Andrew Garfield who was awful as both Spidey and Parker. He’s a good actor but totally miscast in those 2 movies.

Not to mention contributing to the slow death of Zack Synder’s career (he says, hopefully)

Gotta agree, they are okay people as actors, Tom seems like a nice guy. But there is something a but too cute and neat and tidy about these films, it would have been fine for one film, it was stretched silly at the second one, and the third, well, pointless. I will stick up for Garfield as well, I think he is a fine actor, and his efforts were good. Again though, the first Garfield Spider-man was good the second was a smorgasbord stewing mess.

Toby Maguire was a great Ditko Parker.
Garfield was a fine Romita Parker
Holland is a fabulous "Ultimate Spider-Man" Parker.

They all bring something to the table. I'm just not thrilled with this current version of Peter Parker.

Yes, I don't think its the actors it's the lack of personality and drive. I don't think they have any chemistry together either. Toby, Kirsten and James had incredible chemistry together and they all had motivations and interweaving story lines.

Holland is only interesting when he's interacting with far superior characters like Iron Man and Nick Fury. Batalon is the comedic relief and Zendaya's MJ serves no purpose at all.

I actually really like the current Spider-Man and those characters who are his pals. They have good chemistry. The second film was watchable but not that great when the entire bad guy's plot could be undone by thirty seconds of standard police work. But I've enjoyed the cast.

I liked the Maguire Spiderman back in the day - but mainly because that was all we had. I’m not such a fan any more. Garfield is my Spiderman and I will defend those movies (as flawed as they are) to the death. I wish we had seen the vision that was planned, Sinister Six and all.

I can’t stand the Tom Holland Spiderman. There’s nothing Spiderman about it at all. It’s just all gadgets and suits and I can’t get into it at all.

That's a fair criticism and one I forgot to bring up. They've made Spider-Man into a quasi Iron Man side kick. Like you said, he's not really Spider-Man at all. Same reason I really don't like Iron Man anymore, who'sknow a quasi Transformer.

There is something a bit too "aw shucks - cute-teenager-ness" about the Tom Holland version.
And this folds into Solium's point, acting like Iron Man is his "pops"

Guessing you’re not a comic-book reader then because the Iron Spider stuff isn’t unique to the movies by any means.

And apart from Infinity War and Endgame where he does use the gadgets a fair bit, they really aren’t front and centre for the other three MCU movies Spidey has featured in.

I was a comic book reader in the 70s and 80s and because I got most of my comics from a second hand book dealer, read a lot of 60s comics too.

While I stopped reading comics, I stayed aware of things that were going on in the comics so I am aware of Iron Spider. Can’t say that I liked that take on Spidey in the comics either. I guess it comes down to what I grew up on.

I understand Marvel is probably trying to appeal to a younger generation of fans who probably love this version of Spidey - it just leaves me cold. Each to their own.
