Silvestri's resume on the Gorfaine/Schwartz websites confirms Silvestri is (of course) scoring

That link reveals the songs will be co-composed with Glen Ballard (presumably the 1940 songs will be in there too)

Competing Pinocchio films...and threads!
Wow.
I hate Pinocchio.
Always have.
Creepy as f**k.

Yes, PINOCCHIO overkill. The Garone/Marianelli film from 2019 hasn't even premiered in Norway yet (official premiere is December 25), and there are two more in the works already.

All you need is the Disney classic. Works best in animation.

Yes, that and the Italian TV series from the 80s which I remember fondly from my youth.

Still more excited for the Del Toro version because Zemeckis has lost his magic touch and relies way too much on special effects the last 15 years.

Except for FLIGHT. I liked that, and wish he did more of that kind of stuff.

I’ll stick with A.I.

I look forward to the score, but the film … what has Zemeckis done in a long while worth even watching for free?

I walked past the local cinema earlier today (which is closed due to the restrictions), and noticed a promo poster for the film outside so it must just be released here.

I've never even seen the original Disney movie!

IT's not like the original film is amazing, but the visuals with the scoring for the whale attack is fantastic and worth your time to look up.

I'll maybe try to give it a viewing. I've never seen Bambi either, maybe they'll do a remake of that as well!

Good to have you back Justin, I hope you're well.

I'm "okay" all things considering.

Right now Disney has live-action remakes planned for like a decade I think. If they made it, they'll remake it. Well, except that one animated film they want to disown...
