"DOCTOR WHO---the "Can You Hear Me" episode had 3.8 million viewers which is the worst ratings ever for the Jodie Whitaker/Chris Chibnall episodes and was 22% down from Season 12's premiere." The BBC is sure the upcoming black female Doctor Who will bring the ratings and fans back........"just what the Doctor ordered." Not sure it'll work, but one thing's for certain. Jo Martin is far and away ten times better than the current one. She has gravitas (something JW is totally devoid of), has a better outfit, and has a gorgeous Tardis interior. That said I hate this worst ever example of retconning, which is nothing less than male hating. For me equality is about balance not revenge. Obviously we have still the rest of the series to see before final judgement, but I get the impression they're going to say the character has been female all along.
