I'm sure I read a while back that there would be a standard CD release and a deluxe 2 disc edition (similar to the first film, although the single disc did have the score + songs and the bonus CD was demos and such) featuring the Beck score. I know nobody is buying CD's anymore but I'm not convinced 4-9 year olds are spinning vinyl either.
As far as I know, Roger, the only place to get the Chris Beck score ON CD is buying the Japanese 3 Disc Limited edition, which costs about $50 from Japan, at the moment.
Unless you guys at Intrada can sort out a cheaper alternative

Here's the cheapest I could find it - via a Japanese seller on eBay:
$56.99 USD - + $9.00 shipping. It's much cheaped than trying to order from Amazon Japan - and seems to be the same price it's selling for at Tower Records Japan's website - but I don't think they ship internationally without a buying agent.
It's a pretty good score, on par (or just slightly lower) with the first. If I have an issue, it's that it's a bit "full-on" at times; a bit too much whimsey orchestral action music. But I love the more low-key parts, or where it's referencing ethnic elements (primarily Norwegian and Sami elements). I guess I need to see the film too, since my niece is such a fan of the first film and will no doubt be of this.
