People still care about TREK?!

I don't care about new Trek but I do care how they continually crap all over the IP.

This writer is worried about a Tarantino R-rated STAR TREK.

The premise of this piece is off - it traces a darkening of Star Trek to First Contact, instead of TNG, where the Borg originated. And of course, Contact comes BEFORE not AFTER Insurrection.

The further Trek moved past Roddenberry's influence - starting btw with Khan - the more it began evolving into something more like everything else.

WOK was not that much of a departure from the average villain, monster or threat in the television series. Obviously the villain was straight out of the television series. WOK strengths lies in its relationships and character building scenes. It isn't a brainless action movie like the reboot.

I'll tell you what kind of fan I am: I looked at the second photo, the one of just Kirk framed between Spock and Uhura, and recognized what episode it was from. Answer: "The Ultimate Computer."

I'll bet Scott M would know it too.

Star Trekantino may be the only time we get to hear Goldsmith in a new Star Trek movie. And Schifrin. And Morricone. And Bacalov. And The RZA.

  • Gene isn't just spinning in grave, they've opened his grave, poured gasoline into it, lit it on fire, pissed it out, and now they're taking a dump in it.

Considering that his ashes were buried in space, that's some piss. Don't cross that stream!

  • "Khaaaaaaaaan! You motherf****r!"

Live long, and go f#ck yourself.

The plot will be about some Orion slave toe close-up. Dutch angle, of course.
