Regardless of the medium it's being released in, I'm curious about the music itself -- whether it's just typical horror stuff (a bunch of stingers and murmuring dissonance) or actually some form of romantic darkness, which Korzeniowski often excels at. If it's the former, I'm not interested. If it's the latter, I might be.

Though I'm no fan of the "Conjuring Universe," I love Korzeniowski's theme from Penny Dreadful, so I'm always rooting for him. I just wish the only "major" director who employs him regularly wasn't Tom Ford (ugh).
Pretty disappointed with this. The usual dark rumbling, creaks and moans with some vocal effects thrown in. I'm sure it works well in the film but its just all so...boring. Mr Korzeniowski can do much better than this and you get the occasional glint of his 'PENNY DREADFUL' sound, but I suppose that's what the filmmakers wanted. As a horror score fan though this seems hugely forgettable to me and not something I'll be running back to. Shame they didn't use Joseph Bishara to keep the sound of the 'CONJURING' universe going. If they just wanted an effective soundscape style score he'd have done his usual bang-up job with this one. Looking forward to the film though.

Sorry to hear that. Then it's exactly what I did NOT want.
