Give Me Convenience Or Give Me Death - Dead Kennedys. Bought this on vinyl when it first came out and still love it.

Nothing like a little sexy disco in the morning. How can you go wrong with a track like "I Wanna Funk With You Tonight", LOL!

Two albums in a row, where EC has remembered to include a load of tunes alongside the fancy wordplay

Closer - Joy Division.

Nice. wink

D'ya ever hear a song that hit you so hard in the groove that you thought "Hot damn, this was written for ME!"

This is one of those songs. I can't listen to it without involuntarily breaking into some seriously interpretive dance moves, so put away your breakables, people, I'm comin' through!

I've been on an unstoppable run of Dream Theater for the past several months. Since October, I've gone from having none of their albums to having their first nine studio albums (with Black Clouds and Silver Linings on the way), two live albums, and their EP, A Change of Seasons.

I've known they existed for decades, but late last year I got the irrepressible urge to listen to Images and Words, having a peripheral knowledge of it since my dad owned it when I was a kid. Never having actually sat down and played it before, I was blown away. I keep telling myself that I need to stop, but I could very well and up with all of their studio albums by the time their new one is released later this year. I've never bought anyone's music at this rate. After decades of obsessive film score collecting, I may just be making up for lost time.

Favorite albums so far:

1. Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes From A Memory
2. Images and Words
3. Awake

I hear you, Nicholas. I've been deep-diving into rock & heavy metal for a few years now and discovering (and revisiting) all kinds of amazingly creative and invigorating music, with a recent focus on both popular and obscure/underground hard rock/blues/psych/prog from The Golden Decade spanning the late '60s to the late '70s. Would somebody pass that doobie already?

Is that an actual album?

No way. Looks like a gov't PSA for NYC.

Great album Thor. I think my favourite is The Stranger though.
