Toothbrushes (ironically?)

Everyone in the USA seems to have the same teeth. I don’t know if they have a supply enough for one scene in a film, then they wipe them on their sleeves and pass them to the actors in the next scene.

The dentists, all, have just the one ' perfect grin' blueprint to work from. It's given to them at dental.school. big grin

I know I hate that. Ive seen some really pretty faces ruined by "mannequin" teeth.

My teeth are not perfect by any standard. At least three front top smilers and two bottom are crooked. Despite this or, maybe because of it, I've had a number of compliments about my gnashers. Some when I was out postin'. Once I went in the building society to draw some money out and was waiting for what seemed like a while. The woman was staring at me- ' haven't you got nice teeth, they glow'. Thank you very much, now can i.have my money. big grin So they don't need to be perfect.

My teeth are all but extinct. Falses are just around the corner.

On the other hand, one of my best friends is a postie, and a fellow Doctor Who fan. His problem is lack of hair. Something that gets a few Sontaran jokes from his 'friends' like me, but when doing his walks (I believe you call them?), he gets comments about looking like Harry Hill! Being a bit of a comedian himself he seems to prefer that to Heston Blumenthal... (yeah the right glasses as well)

Over the years I've had comments about also having nice hair and nice eyes! The problem is it was never the same woman. frown

If it had been the same woman, it would have been a big fkn hint. Even I would have noticed.

Let’s expand great things from the United Kingdom, not just Brits. Now the GREATEST things we have from the U.K are:

Tall Guy
Bill Carson
KeV
Damian,
Grecchus
Thomas
Litefoot
MusicMad
Paulhickling
Timmer
Graham Watt
Jehahnn. (sp, sorry.)
And many others on this board from the U.K. (Some profiles don’t list their countries.)

Also, we have the two greatest love stories ever printed which are Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre.

Heh!

Joan, if your list is in height order Jehannum should be much higher on it. And I’d like to nominate our new comrade Stalemate12 (Tom), who I gather should also be right near the top. Not sure about Bill - I’ve only ever seen him sitting down.

Ahhhhh, thanks Joan.
You're too kind.
We see you as an honorary Brit too, so add yourself to the list smile

And I slouch quite a bit.

I humbly thank you for your unintentional compliment, my frivolous, misguided space-age nonentity.

my frivolous, misguided space-age nonentity.

Now that is funny.

I don't remember Stalemate12. Must look for that entity. Now I know how to spell Jehannum.

Yeah, I'm an official Brit!!

I was suppose to be on a cruise this coming July that had me a few days in Ireland, then on to Scotland and finally in England. We cancelled obviously. Maybe in a year, blokes. smile

Most kind of you, Joan, to include me in the list (exalted company? smile) but I fear wrongly ...

... I've travelled only once to your nation's shores ... and couldn't wait to leave!

Of course, if the thread title includes other lands: whilst I/we've travelled through a number of fellow European
countries I like to think it has never been with any intent at invasion!
