Super-sized Pinocchio. A $50 dollar item that retails for $300! Doesn't even bend at the elbows and knees. Still very cool and appears very accurate and on model to the animated character. Start at the 3 minute mark.

Oof. Throw your money at the Clint Eastwood Legacy collection instead. Worth...every...penny. Josey Wales arrived yesterday! I still don't know how Super 7 gets away with charging such insane prices for those oversized bath toys. At $50, still overpriced, I would probably buy the Peanuts figures but $300? Hahahaha!

Eastwood figures aren't for me but that sure looks nice! I don't know how Super 7 justifies their prices and many have called them out on their often cheaply made products. Ive gotten some of them but on sale though because they are doing characters no one else are producing. But I wish someone better could get the Disney license.

Their Disney Ultimates are pretty nice. If they do my childhood favs like JUNGLE BOOK or ARISTOCATS I'll probably bite. I keep waiting for them to expand their BLACK HOLE line and give us some humans or Goon Squad sentries but they're too busy producing (c)rap artists and GI Joe. At least Plastic Meatball confirmed a wave 2 TIME BANDITS.

I preordered THE PHANTOM CREEPS robot-----that ticket for the trip back to my childhood was expensive.

Looks awesome. Afraid to ask the price. I have the Monarch 8 inch (?) model kit. I'll probably have to live with that.

Hmm, that's not to bad at all compared to the price of other figures on the market place. The five month payment plan is something I could swing. I might seriously consider this. Thxs! I know someone else who wants a Gorgo figurine too.

I heard Super7 has lost the Disney license. This includes all Disney extended properties like The Simpsons. So they won't be producing anymore classic Disney animated characters. I know they weren't always the best of quality and over priced but I'm still sad to see an end to this line. They did really obscure characters no one else produces in figure form. I really wanted the Rescuers set which was already previously canceled by the company. I'll probably have to prioritize getting the remaining sets I don't have before they go way up in price on third party websites.

S7 had an odd approach to their The Simpsons Ultimates waves: no core family members in their standard attire. I have only pre-ordered Bartman from them, but I look forward to owning that. Supposedly Jakks Pacific has The Simpsons license now. I'll have to find those pictures but supposedly they had some box mock-ups at a toy show recently.

Playmates ST: TNG Enterprise D---Amazon on sale $23.99.

The Playmates Enterprise D has some conspicuous screw holes and is smaller than the old Diamond Arts Enterprise D which I have.

These new die-cast/metal models suck. There's screw holes all over them. I saw the new Playmates TOS Enterprise on Amazon. The adverts hide the screw holes. Unforgivable and deceptive.

Man, I have that. And some other ST: TNG Playmates skips. And all the crew with some additional figures.

As terrific a model it was, it was all there really was back then for the price and not having to build it yourself, so you had to overlook the flaws of that ship and others (the Romulan warbird, for example, has NO windows -- but you can see a shit-ton of little yellow circle windows on the beak in the series).

Flaws included: inaccurate or missing details, no light-blocking housing inside the warp nacelles so the whole thing doesn't light up like a futuristic dildo, a saucer section that didn't detach (not that I minded that), and many things simply not even painted at all.

I had to paint the ship like crazy to gets it to a passable level compared to the on-screen model. I used black and light blue paint for the windows to try and match the darkened and lit windows on the ship, from photos and video (which lead to the discovery of inaccurate and missing windows). I had to paint the deflector dish so it looked bright red and blue like on television; the deflector was orange when the ship was powered off. I had to paint all the escape pods, the shuttle bay doors, add little red and green dots for blinking lights which were left off, and more. Not as frustrating as adding little yellow dots for the Romulan warbird, mind you.

Damn. That means no humans, humanoids or sentries will be made for THE BLACK HOLE series. It also means we won't get the TRON figures at a reasonable price outside the Disney stores.

Really odd the sentries haven't gotten any attention. They could even repackage the same figure (save $$$$) in black for the leader and double profits.

Exactly. Looks like the robots are all almost gone and going up, Old BOB is getting near $30. Hit up Amazon if you don't have them before it's too late!

Two Aurora Prehistoric Scenes model kits re-released for the first time in 50 years. I owned the Saber Tooth Tiger when I was a kid but never got the Cave Bear. Decades later I purchased originals off of Ebay for inflated prices. Here you can own them for around $27 dollars each.
