Sounds like a great album, in the tradition of the “Mondo Morricone” collection- But I preordered this from Amazon US and they just moved back the cd release from Dec.4 to Jan.12! Looking forward to it though

Just got this. Interesting, rather unusual playlist. Most atonal in places. Can imagine Ennio smiling at the inclusion of the more challenging tracks. Ive always loved track 4, edda, from smagliatura, but i knew it as La Faille. Kinda weird thriller, french-italian-german 1975 co-production set in greece! (I just noticed Eda mentioned this earlier in thread). Love the sicilian clan track too.

Like the other editions, it also includes the "hidden" track at the end with excerpts of exchanges between Morricone, Bruno Nicolai and various sound engineers during what I assume are different recording sesssions. I like the chatting clips on the final track. Would be wonderful if an Italian speaker could translate whats being said there? Is it all from the Macchie Solari session 74 or from different sessions? At one point Ennio mentions Bruno (so probably Nicolai more than d'amario) and shortly after Ennio also says Roberto (there follows a drum burst). That is definitely Edda first practising Na Na Na Na and then chatting, i guess likely Alessandroni whistling "Le Prisonnier de Hollande" (Auprès de ma blonde) and at one point at the end the Cantori girls chatter and im sure Ennio says "Thank you very much, Ladies." or something to that effect?
