Max Steiner probably isn't up you alley, but let my try anyway:
Any chance a proper release of Now Voyager or Jezebel is at hand?

Would love to tackle some WB Golden Age. Trying to work something out. Costs could prohibit this from happening

Thanks for trying MV. I think Ray has said Max's THE HANGING TREE is there and complete.

I would think a Gary Cooper western in color might sell pretty well.

Ditto for Cooper's SPRINGFIELD RIFLE.

Any scores you would absolutely not release purely because you hate them, even though copies would move faster than Jim Phelps running from a group of comic fans?

My personal affection for Cy Coleman´s "FAMILY BUSINESS" (the one directed by Sidney Lumet, starring Sean Connery, Dustin Hoffman and Matthew Broderick) leads me to ask whether LLL would ever consider releasing this.

But I think that would make as much sense as asking for a complete ROCKY I, II, III, V or VI?

For me, THE HANGING TREE is my most wanted Max Steiner score. SPENCER'S MOUNTAIN is second , but unfortunately not complete.

Wasn't Family Business one of the few times that the Leonard Maltin Guide singled out the music for being shitty?

Yes. I love that score.

Sure enough. I've never heard Coleman's music, but it must be something to get panned twice in the Movie Guide (GARBO TALKS - another Sidney Lumet joint - is the other).

I suppose that unfortunately no material will exist anymore of SPRINGFIELD RIFLE, or am I wrong?
The Steiner library had nothing - which was also the reason why nothing from this score was available on the former Tony Thomas double LP with Steiner westerns - and as the movie is from 1952 Warner quite certainly also won´t have any original music tracks anymore. As we all know almost nothing before 1954 exists there.

How come Rio Lobo is copyrighted to CBS Broadcasting Inc. while Kritzerland's A Boy Named Charlie Brown has Cinema Center Films (which released both movies)?

Cinema Center was a division of CBS. They were both related

I already knew that, and it doesn't answer the question.

I know that the Steiner fans are jumping in with their wants, but I believe MV has said in the past that he's a Korngold fan, and the prospect of getting follow-ups to the great FSM twofer of Kings Row / The Sea Wolf is what really has me excited. I mean, a two disc complete Sea Hawk in good sound under Korngold's baton would be to die for.

What's the timing on a 1977 Pontiac Grand Prix SJ?

Seriously, I just want to say how great your label is, and how happy I've been with every release so far. Love your dedication, quality, communication with your fans/customers, and sense of humor!

Korngold is a tough cookie due to the estate. Perhaps some day

Wouldn´t you have also to deal now with the MPAAS (besides WB and the estate) as Leslie Korngold apparently has donated all the sound recordings of the Korngold estate to them?
Or has this info by Brendan G. Carroll in the Korngold forum from 2015 nothing to do with licensing the rights for the Korngold scores at all?
All of this is quite confusing:

"It appears that Leslie Korngold has now donated all of his rare sound recordings to the Motion Picture Academy of Arts and Sciences. The CAMBRIA release is therefore unlikely to happen at all.

Whether MPAAS will ever issue a CD of this priceless archive is anyone's guess."

Estate was not the proper wording. Controling interest would be more apt.

Hopefully some day

Any chance you'll release Frank Perkins' score for "Palm Springs Weekend"?

I complete score release for the Sea Hawk would interest me also. But since it was re-recorded twice - by Varese and William Stromberg - I would prefer more Steiner releases.
