I posted in another thread how is rediscovered the 70’s Filmation Tarzan series. I loved the music for that cartoon as a child. Any Filmation music on the horizon?

I haven’t checked in for a bit so is the Six Million Dollar Man soundtrack a lost cause?

Don't know, but something was mentioned about some Universal . . . Check a few posts back. If the answer was no on the SMDM soundtrack, could your heart take answer? Don't know if mine could. So . . . perhaps it's best if we don't know.

Besides Tarzan, what other animated series from the 60's, 70's, and 80's deserve their own soundtrack releases? We have Johnny Quest and Star Trek: Animated Series, but what else?

I would love John Marion's music from the Filmation superhero cartoons of the '60s - The New Adventures of Superman, Aquaman, etc. I grew up on that stuff, and I think it's totally under-appreciated.

Do you think are enough cues for a soundtrack album? How about Superfriends?

There might not be enough for an entire album, but adding Superfriends would definitely fill it out. Same subject matter, but different studio and different composer.

Hi MV,
Are there still plans to release MacGyver (1985 series) sometime in the not too distant future?
Thanks

Hi MV.

Any chance of John Williams' "JFK" being remastered/re-released?

Also, any chance of LLL reissuing Jerry Goldsmith's "INNERSPACE"?

Thanks.

With Top Gun: Maverick about to be released, I wonder if LLLR's Top Gun soundtrack is imminent.

I hope the new score is coming on CD. Nowadays you never know... If it would come together with the original 1986 score - even better!

I second this. MacGyver please!

I second this too. Still hoping for the "MacGyver"-release.

Other questions:

1. Some news concerning "It takes a Thief", "The Rockford Files", "Magnum, p.i.", "The A-Team" & "Airwolf"?
2. LLL's "NO!" on "Stargate" still valid?

Pretty sure TG2 will be a CD.

Paramount, Meg Ryan, music by someone with electronics knowledge.... Flesh And Bone does share elements with Top Gun. So that should tide some of you over! wink

Considering a post about it just popped up again and it's also the film's 25th anniversary, any chance we'll see a release of Carter Burwell's score for The Jackal?

...and it's expanded too.
(Sadly, reading the word Remastered actually reminded me of the Master Station joke from this movie. Can't believe this has been in my brain for more than 20 years since I saw it just to make this stupid connection.)

Are these the sole releases for May? I ask because I'm trying to plan my score purchases ahead of time.
