And this is why I don’t hesitate! Phew! Glad I got my order in.

Wise move.

The only reason I got one of the last copies of The Rocketeer was due to The Great Escape "quietly" coming back into stock and prompting me to start an order. Looking through their catalogue at the time I realized just how many Intrada titles I've missed out on over the years. Glad to barely avoid that this time.

So, is that it? Folks have been pining for for this reissue for years, and preorders are finished in a handful of days. How many copies are being produced?

Perhaps Disney will release this as a download. They seem to be on a roll lately.

Good news, everyone...

  • (Temporarily out of stock)
Sorry but the most recent re-pressing of The Rocketeer is already gone. We will be working quickly as possible to get this title back in stock. We do not know how long this will be, but we will be posting updates here as soon as we have more information.

All the same, phew. Made it in time. Mine, all mine...

  • What is it with this score? Lol!

Well, clearly it's not a soundtrack. It's soundcrack.

    Clearly.

Is this an indicator of how many people were unhappy with the previous release? Or of those who missed it? Or a combination of the two? I certainly bought it again for the improved sound.

I wonder how many copies they did press?
And how long before they get more copies in?
    Roger?
    Jeff?

I should have pulled the trigger damn it! Hopefully Intrada gets this back in stock because I have a pretty hefty order that I want to put through but no Rocketeer is a NO SALE unfortunately.

I've never seen this film but, given all the praise for the music, I purchased the CD along with THE YOUNG LIONS.

    Daaamn sold out already?

    WHOA!!!

Look, whether or not the remastering is what some people expected it to be...whatever. The fact is that this is an awesome score that was out of circulation for far too long, and this quick sell-out of their inventory is proof that people just want this album.

When was the last time any album sold out of its initial inventory this fast??

I think it's also proof that people want more of this UNIVERSE.
The Rocketeer has been criminally under appreciated for 30 years.

Apart from ‘The Rocketeer’, there are many other titles which are awaiting repressing.

I wonder how large the first bath was and if it is just a first batch.

Also I mean, yeah fuck ebay scalpers.

I, sadly, suspect ebay bots. I got mine cause I missed out on the last pressing by like a day so I ordered this the INSTANT it was available.

I hope you watch the film one day because it is enormous fun and Horner's score works wonders in context.

Surprised no one from intrada posts in here to give people low stock warnings on their newer releases, The River also is OOS with no warning.

I think they usually do. This one seemed to sell out really really quick.
