"That must have been an early score for him?"
------------------------------
Yes, 1971, he was just starting out.
The film is also know as Juliette De Sade or Heterosexual.

Love Conti’s work.

Of his unreleased scores, I covet Private Benjamin and The Seduction of Joe Tynan.

Escape to Victory
The Karate Kid Series
Masters of the Universe
The Right Stuff
Rocky I and II
Rookie of the Year
The Scout (I think my favourite Conti track is on this one - World Series)
Wrongfully Accused

I hope Conti scores some more films, I really miss him! For me a new Conti score has always been an event, I love hearing his music through the loud speakers of a movie theater!

Dream on Henry.
Sadly, like Conti, I fear I will never hear a new score by Lee Holdridge or Cliff Eidelman or Bruce Broughton frown

You're probably right KeV. Regarding all four composers it's such a shame and sad!

Good news for fans of Slow Dancing In The Big City.

Scorpion Releasing has the film coming in a new 2K restoration on Blu Ray on November 16th, '21 (coming out through Kino Lorber).

Most importantly, it has a brand new interview with Bill Conti. (On average, these last 5 - 10 minutes).

Also a new interview with star Paul Sorvino.

That's interesting. I don't think I've seen any photo or live footage of him in the last 15-20 years.

Didn't he do a long video interview with Film Music Society sometime in the last decade? I recall watching one.

I’m a big fan of F.I.S.T., Uncle Joe Shannon, Slow Dancing In the Big City, and Rocky of course. I want to explore more of Conti’s scores.

“PRIVATE BENJAMIN” – needs to be released – URGENTLY!!

But aside from that – Bill Conti – is my sixth favourite composer of all time… (there are times when I believe I should rate him number #1) – anyway…

Here are – “some” – of the Bill Conti scores I own!

…in no particular order…

1) - Rocky – Rocky II – Rocky III
2) - Lock Up
3) - F.I.S.T.
4) - Paradise Alley
5) - Escape to Victory
6) - All the score to – “The Karate Kid” franchise…
7) - Masters Of The Universe
8) - For Your Eyes Only
9) - The Thomas Crown Affair (1999)
10) - Necessary Roughness
11) - North And South – (All The Releases)
12) - The Big Blue
13) - The Coolangatta Gold
14) - Five Days From Home
15) - The Adventures Of Huck Finn
16) - Grand Canyon: The Hidden Secrets – (A Documentary)
17) - Niagara: Miracles, Myths and Magic – (A Documentary)
18) - The Right Stuff
19) - A Prayer For The Dying
20) - Gotcha!
21) - The Big Fix
22) - Slow Dancing In The Big City
23) - Broadcast News
24) - Bushwhacked
25) - Desert Heat – (Also known as – “Inferno”)

I' m not really a fan of "Karate Kid" but

FAVORITE =

- F.I.S.T.
- The Formula
- A Prayer for the Dying
- Slow Dancing in the Big City

ALSO I LIKE A LOT =

- Masters of the Universe
- Wrongfully Accused
- Rocky 1
- The Adventures of Huck Finn
- Gloria
- Thomas Crown Affair

And certainly there are more great scores by Conti like "Murderers Among Us" , but perhaps these are my personal Top-10 (also have to say there are still many Conti-scores I don' t know).

Hi Tobias! I sure do love his music, even his score to NAILS, which most people don't like. One unreleased score of his, which is fantastic and nobody mentions, is HAPPY NEW YEAR. Which is a Peter Falk movie from 1986. Conti is by far my favorite composer.smile
