Perhaps that stretch goal should be listed AT THE TOP of the page rather than buried at its very end...

Agreed. Like I said earlier, anyone visiting the Kickstarter page for the first time sees that the target has already been reached, so they see no reason to contribute. They see nothing of any secondary target unless they scroll deep down, and even then it is not obvious.

I don't disagree, but I also don't expect modifications to the Kickstarter page with two days to go – especially on US holiday.

Complaints aren't too helpful at this point, but enthusiasm could be.

Someone from Intrada is reading this board, because they have modified the page to emphasize the need for more funds for The Man Who Knew Too Much.

I would hope just because they don't raise that extra $9000 or so on Kickstarter would not mean that they won't do the Man Who Knew Too Much.

Surely they can kick in a few thousand of their own money to get it done, since a chance to do it probably won't come again.

There's got to be 10 or 20 wealthy people in the recording business who would deem the score to THE MAN WHO KNEW TOO MUCH to be worthy of a recording. Splitting the $10,000 equally shouldn't hurt that much.

We've just crossed the two days remaining threshold, with $8,641 left to raise for TMWKTM still. That's twice what was raised in the final two days of Dial M for Murder, but there's much more incentive in this case so let's hope it can happen and a few wealthy folks have been waiting to chip in...

$8,600 needed in 39 hours to have both scores recorded.

Let's do this.

Calling Brian DePalma and Martin Scorsese...

Or Steven Spielberg and Nicholas Meyer, for their stated love of film music. But good luck getting their attention.

I must say, when your Kickstarter page says "$51xxx pledged of $50000" goal, I'd expect the action to die down entirely. A second campaign will surely be needed for the amount that should have been requested to begin with. And that might work out just fine.

Have either Doug Fake or Roger F. mentioned the possibility of a separate campaign for TMWKTM?

If 200 people contributed an extra 50 dollars each to the current campaign, that would hit 10,000, unless my math is as fuzzy as usual.

$8,581 is needed as of now. Dividing that among 200 people is $42.91. But that seems unlikely to happen. I think we need to hope for a final wealthy benefactor at this point.

Seems like someone is indeed reading...

"On Dangerous Ground Funded! Now help us hit our stretch goal so we can record Man Who Knew Too Much and get us to $60K!"

Just curious- if say some of us pony up the extra dough but it fails to meet the target, do we only get charged for the original amount we pledged? I can kick in an additional $50 to get this thing done but I’d hate to pay $125 CAD if it ends up only being ODG…

Against my better financial judgement, I have just doubled my pledge as I am really desperate to see this project succeed. Who needs to pay the rent or eat when there is music to be recorded.?! Just hope my landlady will be understanding this month...!

Please back this if you haven't done so already! Time is running out...

If I now pledged $2000 , but 60,000 isn't achieved my 2000 is taken but TMWNTM still wouldn't happen.....

This principle may well be a disincentive to some people. Surely it would have been better to just have the 60,000 for both scores and focus on that?

Yes, I absolutely agree that it would have been better to just list 60K as the target amount for the two scores together. A number of people may primarily want TMWKTM, but for them this "stretch" add-on tends to discourage contributing late bids for the cause.

I have pledged 60 dollars, but would have gone up to the 250-dollar level if TMWKTM was "guaranteed" if the campaign succeeds. I'd bet that I'm not the only person who falls into this category.
