Any new releases by this guy are welcome by me, despite those two 'angry/modern' scores he did a while back. This film sounds like an Impossible knock-off. He has a few films under his belt, having orchestrated and conducted for others beforehand (Dario Marianelli was his main employer, I think). He's also written some classical works and won a few awards in that field. There's a CD of some of those pieces available and his film scores have been quite well represented on CD. Outside of those two recent RC/MV styled scores, he's always sounded more old-school symphonic to me. Either he's given up trying to sell his traditional sound to producers/directors, or maybe he's gonna try and change things from the inside out?
