It just so happens I was having a rather lacklustre birthday Saturday... until it was pointed out that Roger F. at Intrada on the same day posted this in the Intrada forum:

"And we'll be knocking out another 5 or 6 Goldsmith titles in the next few weeks. Some revisits, some premieres. Turned into a very Goldsmith heavy season for some reason."

And this was after GLADIATOR. Whew!

There's been some minor speculation on the Intrada site that included the two FLINT scores. Will the LP versions count as premieres? My hopes are high for a complete MULAN and GHOST AND THE DARKNESS too. But who knows...?

Well, at least I know they're not the ones re-issuing THE CHALLENGE.

Looks like I need to put more than just a few pennies aside....

MULAN would be amazing, would love to see that.

"some premieres"? Now that's some exciting news!

I hoping that one of the revisits is BREAKHEART PASS.

I recently discovered this score via the movie on a cable channel one day. By the time I became interested in it, the LLL Limted Edition release had sold out.

This wouldn't be the first time that Intrada released a soundtrack that was previously released by LLL (ex. STAR TREK V).

Hmmm, 5 or 6 Goldsmiths in the next few weeks.

Hopefully it will be followed by 5 or 6 Delerues, which in turn will be followed by 5 or 6 Horners

As for Mulan.... As much as I would love it - I'll believe a major Disney animated release when I see it on the Intrada website. Still... looking forward to what titles they have coming. 2013 is going to be another expensive year.

I think The Ghost and the Darkness is definitely coming from Intrada given that either Doug or Roger hinted at it a few months back. I'd also suggest Powder as a distinct possibility given that it's also from Hollywood Records, having had a quite short score release. It would be quite welcome!

Chris.

Any chance Intrada would do THE LIST OF ADRIAN MESSENGER??

Hmmm, 5 or 6 Goldsmiths in the next few weeks.

I took it to mean that they'd be working on 5 or 6 simultaneously in various stages of production, not that they'd be releasing 5 or 6 in the span of three weeks.

Then again, stranger things have happened. smile

Would love a re-release of this one. Likewise, by the time I discovered it the LLL release was long gone.

I missed out on both releases of Night Crossing. So I hope to see that again.
The OP mentioned The Challenge. Is that getting reissued soon by another label?

Really happy about this because there isn't nearly enough Goldsmith on CD. He's the only composer who wrote decent film music, you know. Why buy anything else? smile

That said, even we will have our very first and probably very last Goldsmith title. I was going to do Breakheart Pass two years ago but Mr. Ford Thaxton convinced me not to because it had taken a pretty amount of time to sell out the first release - he also felt there was nothing to do to improve what had come before. So, that fell into the "why" category, but it seems any label will jump on anything with Mr. Goldsmith's name because he is, you know, the only composer who wrote decent film music.

If I remember correctly Intrada said that Night Crossing wasn't one of the scores they wanted to revisit again soon.

Some revisits, some premieres.

More than one premiere? Now we're talking.

I hope a reissue of Bandolero is among them... with that terrible coming-and-going hiss fixed on the Main Title.

Would love to see a US Marshalls. I know generic but even Jerrys generic is above most others.

It would be great if Intada would rerelease Bandolero! Has Intrada ever re released one of it's own titles? Thanks and Take Care!
