This might be my favorite Desplat score, actually.

we obviously don't agree on Giacchino's recent output, but here we are absolutely on the same page
I just don't find a massive difference in Giacchino's 2010s output compared to his 2000s output that a lot of people seem to.

After a long hiatus I listened to this score again - and what a wonderful treat this is. Absolutely entertaining. Fantastic main theme.

Wow, four years later, and whenever I return to this score I am just filled with joy.

This might be my favorite Desplat score, actually. This IS my favorite Desplat score - by far! ...and since my previous post 4 1/2 years ago nothing has changed - this is always my favorite Desplat score! Good score, but always found more engaging The Ides of March than this one.

I played this again this week. What a great retro/throwback score it is, at times, to those WWII classics from the 60s and 70s. Although the whole album plays fine (it runs around 60 minutes), I thought I'd do some editing nonetheless, to tighten the listening experience up a bit more. Here is my Monumental Whittle... 1. Roosevelt Mission 2. Opening Titles 4. Champagne 5. Basic Training 6. Normandy 8. Stokes 9. I See You Stahl 11. Sniper 13. The Letter 16. Jean-Claude Dies 18. Claire & Granger 19. Gold! 21. Castle Art Hoard 22. Altaussee 23. Finale 24. End Credits It runs around 40 minutes long. Please berate me if I've left off your favourite track
