Joe still deals in vinyl. He has several hundred stored in the back room of the store. He will allow certain individuals to go back and look. About five years ago, I spent over three hours in the back room discovering a few incredible hard-to-find lps. The Wizard of Oz 78. Davey Crockett and Cinderella 78's. If it were not for this board (a message posted several years ago, about Michael Kamen being in a rock band) I would not have known. I picked up an lp and there was Kamen, beard and long hair. There were several copies of the Alan Freed rock shows on lp. I only chose one lp: Moms Mabley and Pigmeat Markham. She on one side and he on the other. Took the lp up to the cash register, Joe said: "Where did you get this?" I said: "From the back room." He couldn't believe it. He had no idea it was back there. He said: "Sorry Melvin, I can't sell you this one." He kept it for himself. He kept going on about how rare it was. Moms and Pigmeat both, on one lp.

My greatest find of all-time, one that will never be topped, is finding a SEALED copy of The Legend of Bagger Vance at my local Raspuntin's for $5.99. No joke. This was four years ago.

I have Just found this for 3.80 at a highway service station in Portugal when returning to my home in Spain. I am really happy after searching for years in all those Cds containers in gas stations, supermarkets, etc

Incidentally, I've never seen CDs for sale at a gas station in the USA. Nor have I in Canada. Amazing!
