Yes, I understand it's being referred to as "The Rim Job." You're a riot, JP. Can I sit next you in assembly?

I blind bought "Pacific Rim" on Blu Ray and I really liked it, Both the video and audio are demo quality. Rim is the movie that the horrible "Transformers" should have been; a movie that I detested! "Pacific Rim" was fun, with fabulous special effects, excellent del Toro direction with an appealing cast of characters, headed by Charlie Hunnam. I also liked Djawadi's music score it fit the visuals without being particularly memorable. If only Pacific Rim had Megan Fox instead of the Asian chick, who falls for the White dude in the most offensively racist way... But then again, Transformers 2 had the "nigga" Autobot twins and Transformers 3 had that gay Asian dude. Fuck those racists. You noticed that they had FEELINGS for each other but at the end HUG instead of KISS. Del Toro specifically states that they are friends and that they obviously have a bond that eventually will grown in the sequels. Megan Fox? Really?! You misunderstood the whole point of the the Mako and Raleigh storyline. To drift, one must be compatible and we see that by the teams, The Father and Son [Australia], The Triplets [Japan], The Wife and Husband [Russia] and Brothers [USA]. Mako and Raleigh connect because both lost family to the Kaiju and it is just that... a connection and sure they had some love like feelings but mostly they were busy trying to stay alive and fight.

Saw the film. Liked it but didn't love it. But it miles better than 2014 Godzilla or 2015 JW. This is closer to an enjoyable popcorn movie than those to. Never been a Djawadi fan. Don't think I own a single score by him. This one is decent. Kinda of an above average RC style score. I agree on all counts. It was a fun film and I even liked the score.
